This is a non standard bullet for the 45 ACP that has found a following in the 1911 community, myself included. No feed or accuracy problems have been noted. My personal favorite powder with this bullet is HP38.
HP38 and WW231 are now the same powder in different packaging since Hogdons took over Winchester powder operations.

We show this bullet on both our 45 ACP page and Cowboy Action page for those who would like to shoot a lighter cast bullet in the 1911. We do caution that the rounded flat nose of this bullet makes it prone to fail to feed.
It too can be made from either the hardball alloy or the softer formula used for the Cowboy Action bullets.

This bullet is the standby bullet usually associated with the 45 Long Colt. It too is size/lubed with our Lee Liquid Alox variation. It can also be ordered as a Cowboy Action bullet.
